The president and CEO of Siemens AG, Roland Busch, announced this Monday that the company will invest 160 million euros in the creation of a new "smart" campus in the Las Tablas area, in the north of Madrid, which will house the new headquarters of the company in Spain.
Busch has taken advantage of his visit to the country to announce this new company location, which will be operational at the end of 2028 and will house 22,000 m2 of offices, garden areas and services. Until then, Siemens will maintain its headquarters at the current Tres Cantos headquarters.
The headquarters will be located near the future axis of Madrid Nuevo Norte. Likewise, Siemens has set the goal of turning the building into a "benchmark" for smart, digital and carbon-neutral infrastructure.
"The new 'Siemens Smart Campus' will comply with the highest ESG standards, in line with the company's strategic commitment to become an Czech Republic Mobile Number List emissions-neutral company in 2030," stressed the company's CEO this morning in Tres Cantos. (Madrid).
Currently, Siemens has around 3,700 employees in Spain distributed between different regional headquarters and the current headquarters in Tres Cantos. The building will also have a strong social focus, facilitating the inclusion of people with different abilities and spaces to facilitate work-life balance, and will combine a climate-friendly energy supply with sustainable mobility solutions, energy management efficient and an inclusive space with the city without architectural barriers.
