I'm just wondering, how is disabling ones ability to change their display name a safety measure?

I can not really discuss it to the forum public, but it is a safety measure mainly for Staff.
So we do not run into more coding problems. It is basically a "time of stalling." I am stalling until I finish the code I am working on, then I will lift the stall on the display name lock.
