Do you guys think that it is bad to listen to this musical genre? Most of these artists are party people, meaning they drink, probably smoke, and may or may not use drugs. But int there songs its all just beats. And in any song with lyrics it is normally just random stuff so not like seriousness stuff. I'll post a song with no lyrics and one with lyrics. Tell me what ya think. Is music without lyrics still considered a negative thing as most secular music is? Or is it acceptable because technically literal beat supports no ideals. www.youtube.com/watch?v=a83v4XznC6I (No Lyrics) Ignore song names, they have no actual meaning. Give me your opinions guys, thanks.

I personally believe if you're listening to an artist's song, then you're supporting the artist (the drinker, smoker, drug user, or whatever.) I mean, if you think about it, you are supporting what they've made & so you're supporting them. The music itself, and strictly only the music, no. I do not believe the music itself is bad, but it is secular, so it's sort of undecided for me. Good post, though. Next time please edit the post instead of double-posting.

That's why I put that sentence inside the asterisks for though. It wouldn't let me post the two links in the same post, whether I edited it or not. It always said I was posting three links but I wasn't so I could only double post. And I dont really consider it supporting the artist unless you are giving them money but I don't buy from Dubstep artists. Plus I can't prove he does that stuff just assuming based off common practices within the genre.

But also by listening to the music, even if you don't buy, you're still allowing the chance for other people to hear it, get curious, maybe even by it themselves, etc. all because you had it.
